5th Annual Black & White Party
March 13, 2015 • 6:30-10pm
MassArt Pozen Center, 14 Tetlow St, Boston (map)
Since its beginning in 2011, the Black & White Party has served as Discover Roxbury's annual fundraiser specifically formed to support local artists and advance arts education and programming in Roxbury. Net proceeds from the event directly fund the operations of Roxbury Open Studios, the ArtROX! Hub, and other events in the ArtROX! series.
For five years. guests have experienced a unique evening where the decor, artwork, and food (to the extent possible) are all black and white. The void of color serves to remind us of how important artists are in bringing color to our lives.
Patrons consist of artists, art lovers, emerging fashion designers, and social leaders from across Greater Boston. You never know who you'll meet, especially with masking and masquerade being one of the features of the event. You are encouraged to bring your business cards and creative energy for a night of mixing, mingling, and creative exploration with a diverse crowd where art, dance, and community collide.
